HOUSTON - s4story -- Houston Book Signing for "More Than My Sentence" Spotlights Life After Incarceration

New anthology releases November 1, with a Houston book signing celebrating firsthand stories of incarceration, reentry, and rebuilding.

HOUSTON, TX — Houston-based publisher Ms Cat is preparing to release More Than My Sentence: The Lives Built After Incarceration on November 1, 2026, followed by a community book signing on Saturday, November 14, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Quad Sports Bar & Restaurant, 4608 Almeda Rd, Houston, TX 77004.

The anthology features eight firsthand accounts exploring incarceration, accountability, personal transformation, and the challenges of rebuilding life after release.

"A record can tell you something that happened in someone's life. It cannot tell you everything about who they are today," Ms Cat writes in the book's curator's note.
