LAFAYETTE, Calif., April 15, 2025 ~ The 22nd annual What's Next Longevity Venture Summit is set to take place on June 10-11 at the Claremont Resort & Club in Berkeley, California. This highly anticipated event will bring together investors, entrepreneurs, and thought leaders in AgeTech and the $8.3 trillion longevity market.
Co-hosted and sponsored by the AgeTech Collaborative from AARP, the summit's theme is "Connecting Investors, Innovators, and Distribution Partners in the Longevity Market." According to Mary Furlong of Mary Furlong & Associates, the conference producer and advisor to startups in the aging sector, this summit is a crucial opportunity for attendees to gain insights into pressing problems in aging that can be solved through AgeTech.
Furlong explains that with the oldest boomers turning 80 in 2026 and another 20 years of older adults to follow, there is a significant need for product and service innovation in this market. With advancements in technology such as AI and a highly educated population, there are vast opportunities for investment and value creation. One of the highlights of the event is the annual $10,000 Business Plan Competition which recognizes innovations and solutions that help older adults manage challenges as they age. Additionally, attendees will have the chance to hear presentations from finalists for The John Hopper Impact Award which honors an exceptional entrepreneur or innovator in cognitive and behavioral health.
