Founded in 1984, Jeffrey Animal Hospital is a trusted veterinary provider serving the greater metro Detroit area. Over the course of four decades, former owners Brad and Joann Jeffrey built a loyal client base and a strong reputation for compassionate, personalized care. As the Jeffrey's began planning for retirement, their priority was finding a successor who would preserve the culture of their practice while continuing to serve its long-standing client relationships. Brad and Joann engaged Calder Capital's Sell-Side team to identify the right partner to carry the business forward.
Jeffrey Animal Hospital's engagement led to Calder Capital's Sell-Side team marketing and advising the sale of the business to Associated Veterinary Partners.

Associated Veterinary Partners ("AVP") is a veterinarian-founded and led organization, prioritizing long-term care as they seek to build "the nation's most compassionate network of veterinary practices." AVP's acquisition search was to expand geographically within the animal health and veterinary service industries, which made Jeffrey Animal Hospital an ideal fit.
Garrett Monroe, Sell-Side Managing Director at Calder Capital, served as the Lead Mergers & Acquisitions Advisor to Jeffrey Animal Hospital. Serving as Lead Associate was Riley Hagen of Calder Capital.
Calder's Sell-Side team generated strong market interest during the sale process, with 44 Confidential Information Memorandums (CIMs) distributed to qualified buyers, and 5 offers received. The acquisition closed within 4 months of signing the letter of intent.
