BOHEMIA, N.Y. - s4story -- Jet Direct Mortgage announced that Andy Thaw, Vice President of Renovation Lending / Industry Education, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the New York Mortgage Bankers Association (NYMBA) for a one-year term running from September 2026 through September 2027.

In addition to his board appointment, Thaw will serve as a co-chair of NYMBA's education efforts, helping organize statewide educational events for mortgage professionals. He will also participate in the association's state legislative advocacy activities.

NYMBA advocates for New York's real estate finance industry, representing its members on issues affecting mortgage lending and responsible access to financing. Thaw's appointment provides an opportunity to contribute his lending experience and commitment to professional education to the association's work.
