Kardinal Guitars Introduces the Kardinal Bass
S For Story/10704892
Pro-Grade Specs and Boutique Pickups at an Accessible Price Point
WICHITA, Kan. - s4story -- Kardinal Guitars, known for building instruments that put players first, has officially launched the Kardinal Bass: a four-string electric bass engineered from the ground up for players who expect professional-grade tone without the professional-grade price tag. Available for pre-order now through November 20, the Kardinal Bass ships with a spec sheet that punches well above its $549 pre-order price.
Construction starts with a neck-through mahogany body design, a build method typically reserved for instruments at two or three times the price. The neck-through joint delivers superior resonance and sustain compared to bolt-on alternatives, and the quilted maple top gives the Kardinal Bass a visual presence to match its performance. A rosewood fretboard with a 12" radius and stainless steel frets rounds out a playing surface built to last.

At the heart of the Kardinal Bass are a pair of custom-wound dual-coil soapbar pickups loaded with Alnico V magnets, the same magnet grade found in some of the most respected American bass pickups on the market. Alnico V delivers a warmer, fuller character than ceramic alternatives, with greater dynamic sensitivity and reduced string pull for improved sustain. The result is a passive bass that responds to how hard you dig in, cleans up when you back off, and sits in a mix without fighting for space. Full-size pots and a simple Vol/Tone/Blend layout keep everything player-focused and intuitive.
The Kardinal Bass is available in three launch colors: Cardinal Red, Sapphire Blue, and Midnight Black.
Kardinal Bass Key Features:
The Kardinal Bass is available exclusively through kardinalguitars.com. Pre-orders are open now through November 20.
