ALLEN PARK, Mich. - s4story -- Jango Trivia, downriver Detroit's number one trivia company, is excited to announce the launch of its 'King of the Mountain' trivia league. This competitive event is free to play, allowing trivia enthusiasts of all levels to join at any point during the eight-week period. With an enticing $1,000 in cash and prizes up for grabs, the 'King of the Mountain' trivia league promises to be a fun and rewarding experience for all participants.
Owned by Allen Park local Steve Wachner, known professionally as "Steve, The Amazing," Jango Trivia has been a Downriver staple since its inception in 2019. The 'King of the Mountain' league personifies Jango Trivia's commitment to being "the best night of the week." Participants can join the league at any time within the eight-week span, making it flexible and accessible for everyone. Each week, players will compete in four rounds, testing their knowledge across diverse topics. Points will be accumulated throughout the league, and those with the highest scores will be eligible for the grand prizes that total about $1,000 in cash.
We caught up with Steve Wachner at the June Trivia Finals, where they crowned the Undisputed Downriver Trivia Champions, two time winners "Team Jeff".
"We are incredibly excited to launch the 'King of the Mountain' trivia league," said Steve Wachner. "I feel that this eight week league will give every team their best chance to win prizes, as well as giving teams bigger payouts than normal. I'm hoping it's a risk that pays off and is enjoyable for everyone."
