KraftMaid Cabinetry announces 2025 Kitchen of the Year winner
S For Story/10688193
HATTIESBURG, Miss. - s4story -- KraftMaid Cabinetry (https://www.kraftmaid.com/), a leader in semi-custom cabinetry and part of the Cabinetworks Group (https://cabinetworksgroup.com/) portfolio, recently announced the winner of its 2025 Kitchen of the Year award. The winning kitchen, co-created by designers Lindsey Harris and Susan Rogers of Anderson Design Center (https://andersondesigncenter.com/) in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, was selected for its timeless, classic charm.
The annual award is in its second year. Entries were reviewed by a seven-member judging panel that consisted of industry experts within KraftMaid Cabinetry, including designers, customer strategy leaders and brand leaders. While reviewing submissions, the judges considered criteria such as creative use of product, overall design aesthetic/on-trend design, before-and-after transformation, and creative solutions to complex design challenges.

Winners were then determined by vote of the panelists.
"Utilizing KraftMaid's Putnam Maple door style and pairing the brand's Cottage and Shortbread finishes, the winning design was celebrated by judges as a masterclass in modern warmth," said Alexa Noel, senior director of KraftMaid brand and product. "The design blended clean lines and natural texture with effortless sophistication, and we applaud the designers for bringing their customer's vision to life."
More than 150 kitchen designers from across the United States submitted entries in this year's contest. As winners, Harris and Rogers received a trophy and a cash prize. They will also appear in KraftMaid marketing materials, including brochures, the brand's website and social media, where their design will be featured as an example of the beauty and functionality that KraftMaid cabinets and a skilled designer can bring to a kitchen.
"Our client wanted a new home that blended modern and world-traveled tastes," said co-designers Harris and Rogers. "Plus, they needed enough room to enjoy retirement and host loved ones. We love the amount of storage and the overall layout, and we paid a lot of attention to details like how our clients actually use their kitchen and where storage, work and prep areas should be located."
