MONTGOMERY, Ala. - s4story -- The Latin Podcast Awards (LPA) administration today issued an important update regarding its milestone 10th-anniversary celebration, reaffirming its deep commitment to the global Latino podcasting community.

Earlier, in an effort to expand production of the ceremony, the LPA administration transitioned its rights to a second party. However, following a leadership and management change at that firm (second party) this past June, a mutual decision was reached not to move forward with external (Miami) production plans. As a result, the LPA administration has reclaimed full control of its intellectual property.

This means a large-scale, backed live ceremony in Miami will "NO" longer take place; the milestone celebration will proceed proudly as tradition dictates. True to its independent roots and grassroots spirit, the Latin Podcast Awards will honor a decade of excellence by uniting the global Latino podcasting community through a special livestream broadcast directly from its home studios in Montgomery, Alabama.
