s4story -- Lean Technologies, maker of Thrive, the digital lean manufacturing platform, today announced that it has completed its System and Organization Controls (SOC) 2 Type 2 examination. The audit was performed by independent audit firm Sensiba LLP and covered the period of August 1, 2025 through July 31, 2026. The resulting report is an independent attestation of the security controls behind the Thrive platform.

Developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), SOC 2 is an attestation framework in which an independent CPA firm evaluates how a service organization's controls protect customer data under the Trust Services Criteria. A Type 2 report goes beyond reviewing how controls are designed. It tests whether those controls operated effectively over an extended period, which makes it one of the most rigorous independent assessments available to a software provider.
