GREEN BAY, Wis. - s4story -- Healthcare has been in Peter Fergus's professional genes since birth. His father was a Hungarian-born psychiatrist, his mother a psychiatric nurse, and together they hid his father's Jewish heritage from their children out of an abundance of caution until they were teenagers. Dr. Fergus went on to forge an entrepreneurial career as a cardiologist, all of which he shares in his new autobiography, A Life Worth Living: A Cardiologist's Historical Memoir (M&B Global Solutions Inc.)

Dr. Fergus describes the harrowing path his father's family endured in escaping the antisemitism and danger to Jews in pre-World War II Hungary.
