Other competitors offer the general tools including basic formatting, images, and tables, while the Weaver's Workshop adds Poetry boxes, Side-bar text boxes, working Footnotes, and drop-caps.

The website is not just for creating fiction books, but lends itself to non-fiction, and memoirs as well. Some users have even explored creating coloring books, newspapers, magazines, and even comic books for distribution to digital markets.
