Visitors can generate a PDF, ePub, and Kindle file with one click of the manuscript. The files are generated with no-hassle formatting, optimized for the digital formats of ePub and Kindle markets. Other competitors offer the general tools including basic formatting, images, and tables, while the Weaver's Workshop adds Poetry boxes, Side-bar text boxes, working Footnotes, and drop-caps.

The website is not just for creating fiction books, but lends itself to non-fiction, and memoirs as well. Some users have even explored creating coloring books, newspapers, magazines, and even comic books for distribution to digital markets.
