LONG BEACH, Calif. - s4story -- Long Beach Central Area Association (LBCAA), an arts and education non-profit devoted to promoting diversity and human dignity, is proud to announce its sponsorship of the 38th annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Parade And Celebration, the community's beloved event that has honored Dr. King's legacy for more than 37 years.
The parade, scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 17, 2026 in Central Long Beach, will once again bring together families, faith leaders, educators, artists, students, and local organizations. The parade will kick off at 10:00 a.m. at the intersection of Anaheim St. and MLK Ave. followed by festivities at MLK park to celebrate the life and enduring impact of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. through entertainment, food, and community storytelling.
