Long Island-Based Yudiva Professional Helps Salons Turn Keratin Smoothing Into a High-Margin Service
S For Story/10705085
Botanica, Fantasy, Fancy Pro, Fortifying and Booster formulas are sold to salons and distributors in more than 20 countries.
PLAINVIEW, N.Y. - s4story -- Yudiva Professional, a Long Island-based maker of professional keratin smoothing treatments, is giving salon owners a way to add a consistent, profitable service to their menus. Founded in 2014, the company sells to salons and distributors in more than 20 countries, and its products are also available at retail.
The Yudiva Professional line includes:
- Botanica and Fantasy, CarboCysteine formulas for resistant and coarse hair. Fantasy results can last up to six months with proper aftercare.
- Fancy Pro, an anti-yellow, color-safe keratin for color-treated and blonde hair.
- Fortifying, a maximum-strength formula.
- Booster, an additive that can be mixed into any formaldehyde-free keratin brand to extend results.
"Stylists shouldn't have to choose between results and their own health. With more than 15 years serving salons, I built these formulas so a treatment works hard for the client, and so stylists who want formaldehyde-free options have them," said Matan Pinto, founder of Yudiva Professional.

The economics matter for salons as well. Yudiva estimates that one bottle serves about 10 clients, at a product cost of roughly $30 per service, while salons typically price the service at $250 to $350.
"A salon only grows if a service is repeatable and profitable. We obsess over the formulation and the packaging, so every bottle delivers the same result, and the numbers work for the owner," Pinto said.
