The awards recognize professional women in the D.C. region for their extraordinary community service.

The March of Dimes Heroines of Washington Awards gala took place on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at the Ritz-Carlton in Tysons Corner. The event raised $490,000 to fund research, education and advocacy in support of March of Dimes' mission to fight for the health of all moms and babies.

Since 2001, the Heroines of Washington Awards have raised over $6M and honored 168 Heroines.
