ARLINGTON, Va. - s4story -- Last night, March of Dimes (https://www.marchofdimes.org/index.aspx) announced its latest class of Heroines at the annual Heroines of Washington Awards, (https://www.marchofdimes.org/events/Event.aspx?...) which celebrated its 25th anniversary this year. The awards recognize professional women in the D.C. region for their extraordinary community service.
The 2025 Heroines of Washington Award winners are:

Legacy Heroine — Jennifer Felix, ARSC Federal
Lifetime Achievement Heroine — Stephanie C. Hill, Lockheed Martin
Heroine in Healthcare & Biotech — Ayana Martin, Veridian Therapeutics
Heroine in Professional Services and Consulting — Leslie Merriman, Skin Memory Spa
Heroine in Real Estate and Construction — Nora Abramson, Tower Companies

The March of Dimes Heroines of Washington Awards gala took place on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at the Ritz-Carlton in Tysons Corner. The event raised $490,000 to fund research, education and advocacy in support of March of Dimes' mission to fight for the health of all moms and babies.
Since 2001, the Heroines of Washington Awards have raised over $6M and honored 168 Heroines.
