Marketing Guesswork Is Costing Small Business, Behavioral Marketing Summit Targets Decision Clarity
S For Story/10684376
In-person Human Factor Marketing Summit guides business owners through decision behavior, customer bias and hands-on marketing plan development.
LONDON, Ontario - s4story -- A new in-person marketing summit designed for entrepreneurs and small business owners will take place May 13–14, 2026, at the Stoneridge Inn & Conference Centre in London, Ontario, Canada. The Human Factor Marketing Summit is a two-day working event focused on behavioral marketing, decision science and building practical, usable marketing plans.
Unlike traditional marketing conferences that emphasize tactics, tools and platforms, the Human Factor Marketing Summit centers on how customers actually make decisions and how business owners can align their marketing strategy with real-world decision behavior.
Participants will work through a structured process that helps clarify what problem their business solves, how customers evaluate choices and how to reduce friction in marketing and sales communication. The second day focuses on translating those insights into defined goals, strategy and a completed marketing plan.

The summit is hosted by marketing strategist and behavioral economics consultant Wendy Beth Moore, founder of Customer Click. Moore has more than 40 years of experience across health care, retail, manufacturing, education and agriculture, and has received more than 40 international awards for marketing creativity, innovation and effectiveness. She is also the author of the forthcoming 15th anniversary edition of muddled, meager & messy: Marketing Masterclass for Entrepreneurs & Small Business.
"The biggest challenge many business owners face is not lack of effort — it's decision overload," Moore said. "When marketing starts with tactics instead of decision behavior, people get busy but not clear. This summit is designed to change that."
The Human Factor Marketing Summit is structured as a working session rather than a lecture series. Attendees are guided through behavioral frameworks, customer decision patterns and strategy exercises, and leave with a documented marketing plan and next-steps roadmap.

The event is intended for entrepreneurs, owner-operators and small business leaders who want clearer marketing direction and more confident decision-making. It is not positioned as a tactics workshop or trend-focused marketing seminar.
Registration is now open. Standard registration is $395 CAD plus applicable taxes. Early registration pricing is available at a 25% discount. Discounted hotel rates are available for attendees traveling from outside the London area. More information is available at CustomerClick.biz.
