Matchmaker to the 1% Launches Private Singles Club as Dating Moves Offline
S For Story/10704734
Club Matchology opens Requests for Access in six U.S. markets, arguing that better-designed rooms—not more dating profiles—can change how singles 35+ connect.
WASHINGTON - s4story -- Professional matchmaker Kai Lovè is making a bold bet on what comes next in dating:
The problem may not be the profile. It may be the room.
Lovè, founder of Black Tie Introductions™ and known as the Matchmaker to the 1%, announced Requests for Access to Club Matchology, a private social club for relationship-minded singles 35 and older — open in D.C./DMV, Raleigh, Dallas, Houston, Chicago, and Detroit.
"People think they have a dating problem. Most of them have a room problem," Lovè said. "They keep showing up in places that weren't designed for them. At Club Matchology, we design the room first. Then we decide who belongs in it."
The 2026 Kinsey Institute Singles in America study found that nearly half of singles (49%) have fallen for someone they did not initially find attractive, up from 30% in 2010. Top reasons include great conversations, shared interests, and best friends; self-improvement — emotional maturity, financial stability, and life goals — also gained importance.

What a profile can't capture may be exactly what makes someone compelling in person.
At the center of Club Matchology is the Matchology Table, designed for five to eight members — not speed dating, not a singles mixer. Lovè calls this Matchology Intelligence™: human discernment from years of matchmaking. Members privately indicate interest after each experience; contact is shared only when mutual.
"Accomplished people don't necessarily need more options," Lovè said. "The question is whether they're meeting the right people under conditions where an actual connection has room to develop."
ESSENCE published her essay, "Dating Decoded: When The Apps Make Accomplished Women Question Their Worth," in August. Club Matchology is a social club — not a matchmaking service — with no guarantee of a romantic outcome.
Club Matchology doesn't promise chemistry. It promises a better room.
Requests for Access available at ClubMatchology.com.
