BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - s4story -- The Alabama Association for Justice (ALAJ) elected its 2026–2027 officers at its Annual Convention at The Henderson Beach Resort in Destin, Florida on June 13, 2026. Lucy Tufts of Cunningham Bounds (Mobile) was named President. Additional officers include President-Elect Derrick Mills, First VP Christina D. Crow, Second VP Robert "Bo" Bruner, Secretary Nathan Harris, Treasurer Gavin King, and Immediate Past President Clint Mountain. Tufts, a magna cum laude Georgetown Law graduate, has secured more than $300 million in verdicts and settlements over the past decade. ALAJ also elected its 2026–2027 Board of Directors, comprising attorneys from Birmingham, Montgomery, Mobile, and Huntsville. "Strong leadership is essential to protecting the rights of Alabama citizens and preserving confidence in our civil justice system," said ALAJ CEO Ginger Avery.
