Motina Books Publishing Releases New Novel By Parris Afton Bonds - Answering The Call

DALLAS - s4story -- It's Never Too Late to have the Adventure of a Lifetime
Answering The Call Encourages Women to Take a Chance, No Matter Their Age
Motina Books Publishing is releasing Answering The Call by NYT bestselling author, Parris Afton Bonds, on May 23, 2023. Women will feel empowered by the story of Lauren Hillard who, right before her 70th birthday, decides to quit her job and move to another country.
As women start to grow older, we may feel that we are no longer needed or valued in society. Lauren shows us that we are vibrant and beautiful no matter what our age is. She'll also show you that there's nothing wrong with dating a younger man. But Martha Stewart, at 81-years-young, is gracing the cover of Sports Illustrated, and Julie Louis-Dreyfus hosts a podcast that focuses on the wisdom of older women, showing all of us that women are important at any age.
While Bonds has penned many Historical Fiction novels (her most recent entitled Reluctant Rebel, which is the retelling of the 1917 Bathhouse Riots in El Paso), this Romantic Suspense was a fun change of pace for the veteran writer.

"This story is very loosely based on my own experience," states Bonds. "In 2021, shortly before I turned 77, I sold most of my belongings, boarded a plane with only three pieces of luggage, and moved to Querétaro, Mexico. It was a very different lifestyle than what I was used to in the Dallas area. I absolutely loved it."
Society today doesn't think a woman in her mid-seventies can be vibrant or productive. But this beautiful septuagenarian has published over 50 novels, and she has no plans to stop.
To celebrate the launch of Answering The Call, Bonds plans to hold book readings and signings at the following locations:
Bonds is also happy to visit local Senior Centers and Senior Living Communities to talk about Answering The Call, and to encourage senior citizens to answer the call to adventure.
