What once represented a longshot's final chance to make it to the pros today is being recast into a powerful symbol of overcoming doubt, defying expectations, and achieving greatness.

Mr. Irrelevant is coming to life on the big screen as a feature film. The original story was created by Steve Alten, the Author of The Meg and The Meg 2, a Billion-Dollar Franchise.  The team also includes Oscar-winning screenwriter Terry George (In the Name of the Father, Hotel Rwanda), making the film one of the only sports movies in history written by an Oscar Winner.
