MRAA ECertifies 'Carolinas' by Justin Case for Bronze Level w/500k
S For Story/10702014
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - s4story -- The Music Recognition Accolades & Awards Association of America (MRAA) proudly recognizes recording artist Justin Case Rapping Grandpa following the official MRAA certification of his single "Carolinas" at the Bronze — 500K level.
MRAA President Lanardo Myrick Sr., professionally known as Producer 9-0, offered a heartfelt salute to Justin Case for a body of work and a career that continues to challenge assumptions about who belongs in entertainment, when success is supposed to happen, and what an artist is supposed to look like.
"Justin Case represents something much bigger than a number or a certification," said Myrick. "He represents the courage to keep creating, to keep believing, and to refuse to allow somebody else's expectations to determine the limits of your journey."
For MRAA, this recognition represents more than reaching a measurable milestone. It is an acknowledgment of persistence, individuality and the willingness to stand confidently outside of convention.

Throughout entertainment, artists are often placed into categories based on age, image, background, genre or what the industry believes audiences will accept. Justin Case has chosen another path.
He is breaking stereotypes while setting trends of his own.
His journey reminds artists everywhere that creativity does not carry an expiration date. Purpose does not disappear because the calendar changes. And a dream does not become less meaningful simply because someone takes a different road—or a longer road—to reach it.
"There are people who may have been told they were too old, too different, too unconventional, or that their opportunity had already passed," Myrick continued. "Justin Case is living proof that there is still room to write another chapter. Sometimes the person who does not fit the stereotype becomes the person who changes it."
MRAA considers the certification of Justin Case an especially meaningful honor.
"This recognition feels long overdue," said Myrick. "On behalf of MRAA, I want to extend a heartfelt salute to Justin Case for his contribution to entertainment and for having the courage to be himself while doing it. It was truly an honor for our organization to certify an artist deserving of this recognition."

The official MRAA-18 certification recognizes "Carolinas" for achieving the requirements associated with MRAA's Bronze — 500K certification level.
But behind that milestone is something MRAA believes deserves equal recognition: the example Justin Case is setting for others.
His achievement speaks to every independent artist still recording when others told them to stop. Every creator building without the machinery of the traditional industry behind them. Every person reinventing themselves when society assumed their best opportunities were already behind them.
That is why this moment matters.
