"NeoNostalgia with Craig and Ray" Podcast Serves Up Retro-Vibes for the Modern Mind
S For Story/10694345
DAVENPORT, Fla. - s4story -- In their brand-new "NeoNostalgia" podcast, Craig Donofrio and Ray Keating talk pop culture from the 1940s to the 1990s covering movies, TV, music, advertising, radio, food, home life, novels, and more!
Some might ask: What the heck is "NeoNostalgia" anyway? Craig and Ray combine "Neo," as in new, with "nostalgia," as in an affection for the past, and offer a fresh look at the sights, sounds, and moments that shaped us, and explore why these pieces from the past matter today.
Craig and Ray have lively conversations, pass on a little knowledge, serve up opinions (some half-baked), interview assorted guests, and have too much fun doing so.
Craig Donofrio said, "We talk about everything from old toy commercials and mixtapes to the music, movies, and memories that have stuck with us. My advice is to grab your futuristic acrylic skateboard and a Capri Sun, and join us as we recapture that feeling we never really lost. In the end, we look back with gratitude, and look forward with hope and optimism."

Ray Keating added, "I love this podcast for a few reasons. That includes introducing people to or reminding them of some great pop culture stuff from the past, and quite frankly, learning about TV shows, movies, music, personalities and so on that I didn't really know myself. Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, I'm finally able to find a productive use for the formerly useless pop culture information crammed in my head for years."
Each weekly episode is released on Thursday. You can find "NeoNostalgia with Craig and Ray" on YouTube, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Amazon Music and Audible.
The fullest NeoNostalgia experience, however, can be found on Patreon at https://www.patreon.com/cw/NeoNostalgia where the weekly B Side extra podcast can be found for subscribers, as well as occasional NeoNostalgia Bonus episodes.
The first two episodes are up – "Episode 1: NeoNostalgia? Who are These Guys?" and "Episode 2: Superheroes, Spies, Space & Groovy Rock: 1966's Pop Culture Television."
