Houston, TX — Aga Khan Foundation USA (AKF USA) announced today the appointment of Adam Ramji as Regional Chair for the Southwest Region, where he will support the Foundation's mission to improve the quality of life for vulnerable communities through education, health, economic development, and climate resilience initiatives.
In this leadership role, Ramji will work closely with AKF USA's volunteer leadership and regional stakeholders to advance fundraising efforts, strengthen community engagement, and expand awareness of the Foundation's global development work across the Southwest.
Ramji brings a unique multidisciplinary background to the role. He is an attorney and doctor, and the founder of Ramji Law Group, PC, a thriving personal injury law firm with offices in Texas and Georgia. Known for his entrepreneurial leadership, Ramji has built a firm recognized for its client-first service model and operational excellence.

In addition to his legal and medical career, Ramji is an active philanthropist, endurance athlete who has completed a half marathon, and a film producer involved in major motion picture projects. He is currently pursuing an Executive MBA, with an expected completion date of May 2026.
Ramji is also a devoted family man and the father of four children, a perspective that deeply informs his commitment to education, opportunity, and long-term community impact.
