New Free App Helps New York City Residents Find Yard Sales and Estate Sales Near Them

Loot Aura launches as a free community-powered map for local yard sales, garage sales, and estate sales
NEW YORK - s4story -- Lantern Networks today announced the launch of Loot Aura, a free app that maps every local yard sale, garage sale, and estate sale near you in one place. The app is now available on Google Play and at lootaura.com and is free for both buyers and sellers.
For buyers, Loot Aura displays every nearby sale on a clean interactive map with photos, dates, times, and directions. For sellers and estate sale companies, posting a sale takes under five minutes and immediately puts the listing in front of local buyers who are actively searching for sales in the area every weekend.
"Finding local yard sales has always been more frustrating than it needs to be," said the founder of Loot Aura. "People are jumping between Facebook, Craigslist, Nextdoor, and a handful of other sites just to figure out what's happening near them on a Saturday morning. Loot Aura puts everything in one place for free."
More on S For Story
Loot Aura is community-powered, meaning every listing is posted directly by the person or company hosting the sale. Listings are accurate, up to date, and include the details that matter most to buyers.
The app also addresses a broader issue. Americans discard billions of pounds of usable goods every year, much of it furniture, tools, clothing, and household items that still have real value. Loot Aura is designed to make local resale easier and more visible, keeping more everyday items in circulation and out of landfills.
Loot Aura is free to download and free to list. There are no subscriptions, commissions, or premium tiers. Loot Aura is available now on Google Play for Android and on the web at lootaura.com.
