Musical tribute by poet and lyricist Stu Leventhal honors the heroes, families, and communities affected by September 11
PHILADELPHIA - s4story -- PHILADELPHIA, PA — [Sept 8] — A New Tale (band) makes "The Twins," a musical tribute based on the iconic 9/11 poem by Poet Stu Leventhal, available free of charge for September 11 remembrance ceremonies, school classes, memorial programs, vigils, and noncommercial community gatherings.
Originally written as a poem, days after the attack by Leventhal, "The Twins" has now been transformed into a powerful musical tribute honoring the heroes, victims, survivors, and families whose lives were forever changed by the events of September 11.
The song and official lyric video are available for churches, schools, memorial organizations, veterans' groups, first-responder communities, libraries, and other organizations planning educational or remembrance programs.
Organizations may play 'The Twins' song or lyric video as part of a September 11 ceremony or classroom lesson. Poem and lyrics may also be printed as handouts for educational and remembrance purposes.
