One of the Oldest Domains on the Web Is Back—Just in Time for Martin Luther King Jr. Day
S For Story/10682702
Originally launched in 1996, Minorities.com returns in 2026 as a modern platform for culture, commentary, and identity-centered storytelling.
GREENVILLE, S.C. - s4story -- Minorities.com, one of the very first domains ever created to address race, identity, and justice on the internet, is making its long-awaited return after a decade-long hiatus. Originally registered in 1996, the historic site is now being rebuilt and reimagined for 2026—and it couldn't come at a more critical time.
Relaunching in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day 2026, the revived Minorities.com will serve as a powerful digital platform dedicated to unboxing identity, elevating marginalized voices, and offering daily content that speaks directly to the people most often left out of the conversation.
While the site is still under construction, it is set to be fully polished and open to the world by the end of January.
"We're not just reviving a domain. We're reviving a movement," said the site's founder. "Minorities.com was ahead of its time in 1996. Today, it's more necessary than ever."

🔥 What's Coming to Minorities.com:
Whether you're Black, Brown, Indigenous, queer, disabled, neurodivergent, first-gen, immigrant, or someone who's ever been "othered," Minorities.com will be a home for your story.
💡 Why It Matters in 2026
As institutions continue to suppress marginalized voices, Minorities.com arrives not as a brand, but as a beacon. A place for community, clarity, and unapologetic truth. It's not broken—it's being rebuilt, on purpose, for impact.
"Dr. King's dream wasn't about passivity. It was about justice with teeth," the founder added. "We're here to honor that legacy with daily action and collective vision."
