TOKYO, Japan - s4story -- ORIGAMI JDM, a Tokyo-based custom car parts brand, has opened its first physical store in Akihabara and launched its debut product—a handcrafted carbon fiber steering wheel that fuses traditional Japanese artistry with modern JDM car culture.

Founded with a mission to blend the timeless beauty of Japanese traditional crafts with the individuality of JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) car culture, ORIGAMI JDM produces art-inspired, functional automotive parts. Its signature carbon steering wheels are handcrafted by skilled Japanese artisans using techniques such as kirie (paper cutting), lacquer-style finishes, and traditional patterns.

The newly released carbon steering wheel represents the brand's philosophy: combining lightweight performance with visual elegance. Two debut models were launched:

• Carbon Steering "折鶴 ORIZURU"
• Carbon Steering "桜 SAKURA"

Both models feature intricate Japanese design elements with colored carbon accents and were met with overwhelming enthusiasm, selling out shortly after release.
