ORPALIS Imaging Technologies released an updated version of their free scanning tool Virtual Barcode Reader, along with a brand new website dedicated to the productivity tool.

- Application is fully integrated into the Windows system tray (No GUI).
- The cursor has a rectangular detection shape.
- Hovering over a barcode will instantly read it.
- Barcode type selection is possible before reading.
- The size of the detection area can be adjusted.
- Barcode result is shown in the Windows notification bar.
- Output the result to clipboard or an active window.
