Palm Beach State College Adjunct Professor Hosts 'AI for Small Business' Workshop Nov. 21
S For Story/10707702
Johnny Jean-Baptiste, author of "From Rural Haiti to AI" and founder of NovaTek Business Solutions, will lead a live online workshop on Nov. 21, showing small business owners how to use Claude, ChatGPT and AI assistants to save hours every week.
WESTLAKE, Fla. - s4story -- Johnny Jean-Baptiste, a former banker, adjunct professor of finance at Palm Beach State College and founder of NovaTek Business Solutions, will host "AI for Small Business – Live Online Workshop" on Saturday, Nov. 21, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:30 AM Eastern. The live video workshop costs $49 and is open to small business owners everywhere.
The 90-minute session is designed for busy entrepreneurs who have heard about artificial intelligence but are not sure where to start. No tech background is needed. Attendees will learn how to use Claude, ChatGPT and other AI assistants to write emails, social media posts and flyers, how to save hours every week on routine tasks, and how to use AI safely in their businesses.

The workshop will be presented in English, with a question-and-answer period in English, French and Haitian Creole, so that owners can ask questions in the language they are most comfortable with.
Jean-Baptiste brings a personal story to the subject. He grew up in Gaspard, Haiti, where he studied by kerosene lamp. He went on to a career in banking, teaches finance at Palm Beach State College and today runs NovaTek Business Solutions from Westlake, Florida. He is the author of "From Rural Haiti to AI: How Claude, ChatGPT and AI Assistants Can Change Your Life and Your Business," released Oct. 27, 2026, in English and French. The book has been featured by Palm Beach State College News and the Town-Crier.
"I studied by kerosene lamp in rural Haiti. Today AI assistants help me run my businesses. I want every small business owner, whatever language they speak, to have that same advantage," said Jean-Baptiste.
The workshop draws on the practical, plain-language approach of the book. Participants will see real examples of everyday business writing produced with AI assistants and will leave with simple steps they can put to work the following Monday.
