Pandamoon Publishing Announces Release of TO KILL A UNICORN by DC Palter
S For Story/10574050
AUSTIN, Texas - s4story -- Today, Pandamoon Publishing has released hi-tech murder mystery, TO KILL A UNICORN. Set in Silicon Valley, the story is about Süpr Düpr, a high-flying start-up with a billion-dollar valuation, a "unicorn" in investment parlance, but its media darling CEO is driven more by maximizing her brainchild's valuation than ethics. The novel is available to the public worldwide through Amazon with wider distribution through other channels expected in coming weeks.
"TO KILL A UNICORN is a wild ride through the world of high-tech startups and a rare find for a publisher. It offers a timely commentary on the excesses of Silicon Valley where even the most outlandish concepts can attract investors willing to gamble on the next big thing," said Zara Kramer, Publisher at Pandamoon Publishing. "With only a few days remaining before the unveiling of a transformative new technology expected to revolutionize both transportation and commerce, Ted Hara, the main character, becomes entangled in a web of corruption designed to protect the company and its media darling CEO. While hiding from the police, Ted must learn why people are disappearing."

"February 1st marks not only the culmination of five years of work on my first novel but the fulfillment of a lifelong dream. Pandamoon, which operates like a startup, was the ideal partner for this novel about Silicon Valley startups," said DC Palter.
DC Palter is a startup founder and CEO, with twenty-five years' experience leading tech companies. As a venture investor and startup advisor, he's guided dozens more. PitchingAngels.com, his blog on business strategy and venture capital is a popular resource for founders.
Starting his career as a research engineer in Japan, DC developed a deep appreciation for Japanese language and culture. He's the editor-in-chief of Japonica, a daily journal of Japanese culture, and the author of Colloquial Kansai Japanese, a guide to the Osaka-Kyoto dialect beloved by a generation of language learners. He's also published two textbooks on satellite communications. To Kill a Unicorn is his first novel.
