SALEM, Mass. - s4story -- Paradise Dental Associates LLC is proud to announce that Dr. Jake Hamelburg has officially joined the practice as of July 1, 2026. The son of founders Dr. Helyne Hamelburg and Dr. Stephen Hamelburg, Dr. Jake brings a new generation of expertise to the practice his parents built from the ground up 25 years ago — and a lifelong connection to it. Growing up watching his parents care for the families of the North Shore, he went on to pursue dentistry himself, training at some of the country's top institutions before returning home to carry that legacy forward.

Dr. Jake earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison before going on to complete his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2025. He then completed a General Practice Residency (GPR) at NYU Langone Hospital in Brooklyn, where he gained advanced clinical experience across a broad range of dental disciplines. His training has prepared him to deliver the kind of comprehensive, patient-first care that has defined Paradise Dental Associates since day one.

What began as a husband-and-wife dental practice dedicated to the families of the North Shore is now truly a family practice in every sense, with the next generation ready to carry that commitment forward. Dr. Jake's ties to Paradise Dental Associates go back years: he worked at the practice as a dental assistant while in college, giving him a ground-level understanding of what makes it special before he ever picked up a handpiece as a doctor.

Dr. Jacob Hamelburg was born in raised in Marblehead, and has been a part of the North Shore community his entire life. He graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2025. Prior to dental school, he received his bachelors degree in Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Upon graduating from dental school, he was inducted into the dental honor society, OKU. He also earned multiple Merit Scholarships at Tufts and was on the Dean's List every year. After finishing dental school, Dr. Hamelburg completed a General Practice Residency at NYU Langone Hospital in Brooklyn, New York.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Hamelburg is an avid Boston sports fan. Whether the Patriots, Red Sox or Celtics, he is always rooting for Boston teams. Dr. Jake also enjoys snowboarding, hiking and playing all sports. He loves to spend time with his wife and his friends.
