New York: Mr. Parth Singh Sworn In and Licensed by the Supreme Court of the State of New York (Appellate Division, First Department).In a significant cross-border legal milestone, the son of Ex Bar Council Chairman, Attorney Mr. Parth Singh, an Indian-qualified Advocate, an Ivy League Graduate, has been today Sworn in & Licensed by the Supreme Court of the State of New York (Appellate Division, First Department) as a Foreign Legal Consultant. Mr. Singh's license as governed by 22 NYCRR Part 521 (Court of Appeals rules) and administered in the First Department through the department's procedures under 22 NYCRR Part 610 has successfully met the eligibility requirement to be admitted as Foreign Legal Consultant at Supreme Court of the State of New York (Appellate Division, First Department).

Mr. Singh an International Lawyer now Licensed to Advise Cross Border Law in New York
New York's Foreign Legal Consultant license allows Mr. Singh to continue practicing in New York within the scope permitted under the rules, including advising on matters pertaining International Law & Indian law. As part of the application, the Committee requires a letter of recommendation from a judge of the highest court of general original jurisdiction in the applicant's home country. In support of Mr. Singh's application, Hon'ble Mr. Justice M.M. Sundresh, Judge of the Supreme Court of India and a current member of the Supreme Court Collegium, issued a recommendation letter addressed to the First Department's Committee on Character and Fitness, here attached for reference.
The letter was addressed to the Hon'ble Supreme Court of the State of New York, which also recommended Parth Singh for consideration as a Foreign Legal Consultant, notes his service and duty as a Law Clerk-cum-Research Assistant for Supreme Court of India in Justice Sundresh's chambers 2021-22, and records strong assessments of his diligence, research aptitude, work ethic, and moral character.
