Pensacola's Historic Immanuel Lutheran Church Now Accepts Cryptocurrency Donations
S For Story/10697336
PENSACOLA, Fla. - s4story -- PENSACOLA, FL — Immanuel Lutheran Church, established in 1885 as Florida's first Lutheran Church Missouri Synod congregation, is embracing the future of giving. The historic church now accepts cryptocurrency donations, making it one of the first traditional congregations in the region to do so.
Supporters can securely donate Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), USD Coin (USDC), and other digital assets through the church's website at www.immlu.com (https://www.google.com/search?q=https%3A%2F%2Fw...).
By partnering with the secure nonprofit platform every.org, all crypto donations are instantly converted into U.S. Dollars upon receipt, protecting the church from market volatility.

Giving crypto also offers major tax benefits for donors. Because the IRS treats cryptocurrency as property, donors can support the church's local ministries without triggering capital gains taxes, while still deducting the full market value of the gift.
"We hope working with every.org removes barriers to generosity," said Mark Lane, Administrative Assistant at Immanuel Lutheran Church. "By adopting cryptocurrency giving, we are providing a modern avenue for a tech-forward generation of believers to support the Lord's work here in Pensacola."
