Pregis Recognizes Channel Partners Driving Environmental and Social Impact with 2025 Pregis Purpose Awards
S For Story/10689174
CHICAGO - s4story -- Pregis®, a global supplier of protective packaging, mailing and bagging solutions and flexible packaging, announces the results of the 2025 Pregis Purpose Awards. These awards recognize Pregis channel partners for adopting product solutions that deliver measurable environmental and social outcomes during 2025.
Pregis is proud to honor distributor and fabricator partners who advance the Pregis Purpose to protect what matters, preserve the planet and 'inspyre' positive change that benefits people and communities around the globe. In 2025, the program expanded to four award categories with the addition of the Recover Award, recognizing fabricators who help divert foam waste from landfills through participation in the Pregis® Foam Densifier Program.
"The Pregis Purpose Awards recognize our partners who commit to measurable action, act as sustainability champions in their market, and operate with purpose," explains Daché Davidson, Chief Marketing Officer at Pregis. "As consumers and brands seek suppliers to help them embed sustainability into their daily practices, they can easily identify our Award winners as a trusted source."
The 2025 awards span four categories:
[NEW] Recover Award: Waste Diverted Through the Foam Densifier Program
New for 2025, the Pregis Recover Award honors fabricator partners who participate in the Pregis Foam Densifier Program, helping divert foam waste from landfills by returning densified material for recycling. Through the program, loose foam scrap is compacted onsite and returned for recycling, where recovered material can be used in the manufacturing of new products. In 2025, participating partners diverted 3,040,000 pounds of waste from landfills. By densifying foam scrap at the source, the program also reduces the volume of material shipped, resulting in fewer transportation trips and lower logistics-related emissions.

Preserve Award: Trees Saved Through 100% Recycled Paper Solutions
By offering Pregis EasyPack® paper packaging made with 100% recycled content, including Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC) certified options, Pregis Award recipients prevented 382,500 trees from harvest in 2025. Each tree preserved plays a role in improving air quality, water quality and biodiversity. By reducing consumption of virgin fiber, these partners help limit the environmental impact associated with harvesting new trees.
Inspyre Award: Lives Changed Through Clean Water Partnership
Through the adoption of the Pregis Inspyre™ portfolio which spans inside-the-box paper packaging, air cushioning and mailing solutions, the distributor partners earning this Award helped provide clean water access to 25,500 people in 2025. As a brand member of 1% for the Planet, a portion of all Inspyre portfolio sales supports Uzima Clean Water Mission, providing life-changing water filters to communities without access to safe drinking water. The organization's work extends beyond clean water to help prevent disease, support economic growth and empower women.
Renew Award: Carbon Emissions Reduced Through Packaging Made with Recycled Content
The Pregis Renew Award recognizes partners who integrate products made with a minimum of 30% recycled content into their solution portfolios, including AirSpeed® Renew™ Inflatable Solutions and PolyPlank Renew® Foam. By choosing recycled content solutions over virgin materials, these partners reduced 8,750 metric tons of carbon emissions. Producing packaging from recycled content helps reduce the need for energy-intensive virgin material extraction, keeping existing materials in use and supporting more efficient resource utilization.
