SHELTON, Conn. - s4story -- Author Zachary M. Kekac announces debut Novel, 'The Wayfarer'
A tale of psychological recovery and rebirth with roots in the traditional fantasy and psychological thriller genres. The Wayfarer explores an eclectic world of original characters, and the debilitating effects of post-traumatic stress on mind and memory.
"Burying hurt is like burying water: it simply seeps into the soil and everything that grows from it."
The Wayfarer, while externally a fantasy with all the trimmings of magic, myth, and mystery, serves internally as a window into the last endeavor of a man searching to heal a wound he doesn't even remember receiving. It is a call to awareness for the great suffering a traumatized mind endures, and a reference to the deep, therapeutic reflection required to remedy it.
