NEW YORK - s4story -- We ran our simulation to help make quantum real for board members, with the help of an orange. Our simulation felt more like a game. The players chose industry, place, and scale, and decided they wanted to reimagine buying the best fresh orange in New York.

We asked board leaders who run legacy companies, what would it look like if the newest orange supplier had all the latest technologies? Imagine a company called "Quantum Oranges" that sources the juiciest oranges and supplies them to New Yorkers.

We explored applications of quantum and AI to source and distribute oranges. We discussed weather forecasting, supply chains, shipping, and geopolitical risks. Everything was running smoothly until we hit our first bottleneck. As someone pointed out, almost all food networks go through Hunts Point in the South Bronx. The quest revealed the importance of local knowledge and human expertise.
