FREDERICKSBURG, Va. - s4story -- Rhythm & Purpose Collective, LLC is launching an annual, destination-style concert experience to Fredericksburg. The company's flagship event, Rhythm & Purpose: The R&B Experience, is set for Sunday, October 18, 2026, at the Fredericksburg Convention Center in Virginia.
The flagship event will feature a curated lineup of nationally recognized R&B artists, live band, a plated dinner, a VIP meet-and-greet, and a curated marketplace of local vendors, set within an elevated, "dress to impress- Black-tie optional" atmosphere. Community impact is central to the company's mission, with a portion of event's proceeds benefiting a Fredericksburg-area nonprofit organization.
"Rhythm & Purpose was built on a simple idea that a great night out can also be a force for good in the community that hosts it," said Isia Wilcox, CEO and Co-Founder of Rhythm & Purpose Collective, LLC. "We're bringing an elevated dinner concert experience to Fredericksburg, and building real, lasting support for local businesses and community partners into the event from day one."
Beyond the flagship concert, Rhythm & Purpose is designed to grow into a multi-night destination experience, encouraging hotel stays, supporting local and Black-owned businesses, and drawing visitors from Richmond, Northern Virginia, Washington, D.C., and Maryland to Fredericksburg's historic downtown corridor. Programming will also invite guests to explore Fredericksburg's rich Black history and culture, including the Fredericksburg Civil Rights Trail. The company plans to build the experience into a recurring annual tradition, with a growing roster of artists, sponsors, and hospitality partners.
