Rod Joseph, the Relentless Leader Fighting for the People, Takes His Message to Canada
S For Story/10669218
Purple Heart veteran presses for justice, equity, and a fair chance for every family; Montreal visit underscores momentum as crowds see and hail him as "the people's congressman."
MONTREAL - s4story -- Dr. Rod Joseph, a decorated U.S. Army veteran and community advocate, brought his people-first agenda to Canada this weekend as a panelist at "Annou Pale de Sekirite an Ayiti — Le rôle de la diaspora" in Montréal. Throughout the forum and subsequent community meet-and-greets, Joseph's charisma and hands-on outreach—son charisme durant les bains de foule—reinforced why supporters call him "the people's congressman."
At the event, held Sunday, August 17, from 4:00–7:00 p.m. at 3971 Boulevard Robert, Montréal, Joseph joined fellow experts to discuss security, diaspora responsibility, and practical pathways for economic opportunity. Whils the community participation was over capacity with more than 1,000 left outside, his participation—along with the professionalism of his team and collaborators—demonstrated that they mean business: organizing quickly, engaging respectfully, and answering community questions with concrete next steps.

"I wore the uniform to protect our freedoms—now I'm fighting for working families to have a safe opportunity for growth," said Dr. Rod Joseph. "That means justice in how communities are policed and served, equity in access to capital and transformative employment opportunities, and transparence in government that works as hard as the people do. Whether in Montréal, Port-au-Prince, other communities across the globe and especially in South Florida, our message is the same: people first."
