Scranton Fringe Launches "Social Media for Performing Artists" A Four-Week Workshop Series
S For Story/10683909
Workshop taught by content strategist Melanie Quintyne-Evans equips NEPA performing artists with practical digital marketing skills
SCRANTON, Pa. - s4story -- Scranton Fringe announces the launch of "Social Media for Performing Artists," a four-week virtual workshop series designed to help individual performers and small performance groups build sustainable social media strategies that convert online followers into ticket buyers and community advocates.
The workshop, taught by content strategist Melanie Quintyne-Evans, will meet via Zoom for four one-hour sessions on Tuesdays: April 8, 15, 22, and 29, 2026.
"Performing artists are often told they need to be on social media, but rarely given practical guidance on how to do it in a way that serves their art rather than overwhelming it," said Quintyne-Evans, Scranton Fringe's Social Media Specialist. "This workshop is about sustainable strategies that actually work for busy artists – not influencer tactics or viral tricks."
Originally from Wolverhampton, UK, and now based in Scranton, Quintyne-Evans brings over 15 years of content strategy experience across diverse industries including professional sports, corporate, entertainment, and theater. Her background includes work with productions at the renowned Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
