MIAMI - s4story -- The THesis Hotel Miami will host the Second Annual Brunching for Breakthroughs, an interactive brunch experience led by students benefiting Breakthrough Miami on Sunday, March 15, 2026, from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM at the Paseo at THesis Hotel in Coral Gables.

The event advances youth leadership, culinary creativity, and entrepreneurship while supporting Breakthrough Miami's tuition-free, eight-year academic and leadership program serving more than 1,700 students across Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties.

This initiative was created by Giuliana Reynolds, a 10th grader at Palmer Trinity School:

"I was inspired to create this event while working a summer job. I wanted to share that real-world experience with other students my age," said Reynolds. "Breakthrough Miami helped turn this idea into reality by connecting me with incredible community leaders, Scholars, and volunteers who supported and inspired me along the way."

More than a brunch, this year's Brunching for Breakthroughs is the debut of The Young Entrepreneurs Market. Breakthrough Scholars will participate in a student-powered marketplace, where they will showcase their own small business ventures. Each Scholar team receives a small budget and coaching from a dedicated business mentor. Teams bring their ventures to life at the Market, gaining invaluable experience and exposure.

Event Highlights

Guests will enjoy an afternoon featuring:

• A globally inspired brunch menu curated by THesis Hotel's award-winning culinary team
• Live music and performances by Breakthrough Scholars, Alumni, and Changemakers
• The debut Young Entrepreneurs Market, showcasing student-led businesses
• A celebration of youth leadership, creativity, and community impact

The brunch will be crafted by THesis Hotel's Executive Chef Peiyuan Nung, Managing Director Vikash Maharaj, and Director of Restaurants & Bars Massimiliano Giuliana, in collaboration with Breakthrough Scholars and volunteers, featuring thoughtful flavors, seasonal ingredients, and dishes prepared with care.
