S For Story/10491654
OGDEN, Utah - s4story -- From the author and illustrator of The Adventures of Mr. Noel comes a tool for open communication between children and therapists, parents, and educators — We Are Family: Understanding Mental Health for Children and Young Adults by Stephanie Campbell will be released August 3, 2021.
Illustrated and written in poetic verse, We Are Family aims to open the conversation on mental illness to children and young adults. Similar to The Princess and the Fog by Lloyd Jones, the child-friendly explanations in We Are Family act as a guide for parents and educators, giving every reader an opportunity to grow their understanding of different mental illnesses.
About the Book
It can be hard to talk about mental illness. Sometimes it is easy to make fun of someone we don't understand. Whether an adult or a child, love can be the perfect supplemental medicine to help those we love. We are all God's sons and daughters. We are family, and family we will stay.
