The Legacy Grace Project National Conference for Women Living with HIV/AIDS
S For Story/10507348
DALLAS - s4story -- Legacy Cares hosts the Grace Project National Conference for Women Living with HIV/AIDS, the nation's largest conference for women living with HIV/AIDS, this weekend, Friday, November 12, through Sunday, November 14, 2021, at Westin Dallas Park Central Hotel.
This year's event will host over 100 women living with HIV from North Texas and nationwide. Celebrating the conference's 22nd anniversary, the Grace Project brings formerly isolated HIV+ women together with the goal to support, educate and empower or SEE each woman and create future advocates for HIV prevention, health education, and awareness.
The conference has support from the HIV community of North Texas with practically every HIV organization partnering with the event. Individuals can sponsor the conference fee for one deserving HIV+ woman for only $50 and larger sponsorships are also welcome.
To lower the risk of COVID exposure and transmission, COVID vaccination is required of all participants, volunteers, and speakers. Likewise, event organizers will be reducing the overall capacity to 125 women, and participants have the option of a single room or requesting another conference attendee to be their roommate.

The program seeks to encourage hope and hold families together through a supportive net of services including mental health counseling, substance abuse treatment, support building, and education as women are the fastest-growing population of new HIV infections. The conference is the centerpiece of the program.
