The Montclair Comedy Festival is taking place November 13–15 in Montclair, NJ. The festival will be a celebration of all things comedy, featuring stand-up, improv, sketch, storytelling, sensory-friendly shows, and family-friendly events.
MONTCLAIR, N.J. - s4story -- The Montclair Comedy Festival will be taking place November 13–15 all around Montclair, New Jersey. The festival will be a celebration of all things comedy, featuring stand-up, improv, sketch, storytelling, sensory-friendly shows, family-friendly events, and comedy workshops spread throughout the town. Applications are open at from August 1 - September 30 at our website.
The festival is being produced by Sweet & Sour Comedy, a local production company, run by longstanding collaborators Suzanne Stein and Natty Bumpercar, that has been creating comedy shows in the area (and beyond) for way longer than we would care to admit. We specialize in live shows, fundraisers, benefits, private events, workshops, and even musicals (we recently produced an off-Broadway play that was in the NY Fringe Festival) — and we're passionate about building fun, inclusive, and meaningful experiences through comedy.

A little about us:
Natty Bumpercar is an artist that has been doing comedy for a million years. He works clean, has a ton of energy, loves to engage the crowd, and tries his hardest to make sure that everyone has a blast at his shows. He's produced cartoons, webcomics, hosts his podcast — The Bumperpodcast — and has worked on the radio, in films, theater, commercials, and is the founder of the Cedar Grove Artists Alliance.
Suzanne Stein has been performing comedy for over two decades. She is a Ladies of Laughter finalist and has performed at The Broadway Comedy Club, Caroline's on Broadway, Comic Strip Live, Chicago City Limits, and many more. Suzanne is the founder of R.E.A.L.I.S.E., an advocacy group for families that include people with additional needs, and she is also the creator and organizer of the Puzzle For Autism Tournament.
