Kennedy International Airport. This move marks a significant step towards achieving the Port Authority's goal of achieving net-zero emissions by 2050.

Fortbrand Services, a Long Island-based company, will be responsible for managing the future all-electric ground support (e-GSE) fleet in a pooled setup at T6. This means that the ground support equipment will be shared among airlines, maximizing efficiency and reducing emissions by replacing diesel-powered equipment.

JFK will be the first airport in North America to offer pooled e-GSE at its new terminals, setting an example for other airports to follow. The shift to electric ground support equipment is part of the Port Authority's roadmap to achieve net-zero emissions agency-wide by 2050.
