OAKLAND, Calif. - s4story -- The Peralta Community College District has selected Thompson Builders Corp. (TBC) to complete the Merritt College New Landscape Horticulture Complex project. The $24.6M project includes a range of site improvements including abatement and demolition of existing buildings and site improvements, as well as the construction of new classrooms, greenhouses, and support spaces to house the Merritt College Landscape Horticulture Program. All buildings will be single-story.

TBC is proud to be selected as the General Contractor for this prestigious project.

Originally concentrating on seismic retrofits and general construction, in the early years, the Thompson team completed several projects for non-profit organizations.
