"Two Sides of the Mirror" takes you on an incredible journey following Greg every step of the way as he seeks to come to terms with his unlikely transition and correct the errors of his ways. And along the way, the reader will come to grasp a better understanding of how it feels to live in a world of degradation and racial injustice.
As our country struggles to come to terms with its own racial issues, "Two Sides of the Mirror" could not provide a timelier and more positive message, helping us embrace our similarities, communicate honestly, and prove we are far more alike than we are different.

Mary L. Byrne is the author of the children's book, "Only Children Hear Me" about a dog who advises and guides kids through difficult moments in their lives. Mary has spent many years working in property management and health care, authoring pieces as varied as "Tax Season from a Spouse's Perspective" to "The Many Faces of Child Abuse." As a long-time speaker and cancer survivor, she has addressed audiences on blood cancer treatment and cancer survival issues. She currently speaks on sexual assault and prevention topics. Mary is co-founder and co-owner of Survivors Speak RI, LLC.
Mary lives in Warwick, Rhode Island. This is her first novel.
