Tracey Estes Joins ICW Group Insurance Companies to Lead New Business Unit, ICW Specialty

SAN DIEGO, Sept. 15, 2025 ~ ICW Group Insurance Companies has announced the addition of Tracey Estes as the Chief Underwriting Officer of their newly formed business unit, ICW Specialty. This new unit includes VerTerra Insurance and ICW Group's Excess and Surplus lines carrier.
Estes brings over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry to her new role. She will be responsible for leading the launch and growth of ICW Specialty, as well as shaping its development and operations. Her expertise in building high-performing teams, fostering strong relationships, and delivering profitable growth makes her a valuable addition to the company.
According to Mark Moitoso, President of ICW Group, Estes' appointment is a key step in their growth and diversification strategy. He believes that her leadership skills and vision will drive the success of ICW Specialty. The company's mission to provide the best insurance experience for their customers and partners aligns with Estes' focus on collaboration and accountability.
Estes will be based out of Atlanta, GA, where she will lead her team in building products and go-to-market strategies for ICW Specialty. The first product expected to launch under this unit is Excess Casualty next year.

Prior to joining ICW Group, Estes held various leadership roles in casualty underwriting, specialty insurance, and brokerage. Most recently, she served as Head of Casualty at MSIG USA where she oversaw the expansion and transformation of their North American casualty portfolio. She also has experience at Arch Insurance as Executive Vice President leading their U.S. large account casualty portfolio and has held several leadership positions at AIG.
Estes holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from George Washington University. She is also a Certified Project Manager (PMI) and Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist (CLCS).
