Trissential provides laptops to students in need

IT consulting firm donates 54 laptops to ensure technology resources for students learning remotely
WAYZATA, Minn. - s4story -- Trissential, a leading IT consulting firm, has donated 54 laptops to students in the Twin Cities community. With in-person learning disrupted in many school districts, children may be at a huge disadvantage and some are falling behind in learning. Surveys in 2020 have shown that as many as 25,000 children, about 3% of Minnesota K-12 students, do not have computers at home.
"We're really excited that our laptops can become much needed resources for our local school kids. Distance learning has created a huge demand for laptops, and we're glad our donation can help fill that gap," said Jon Whitcomb, Sales Director at Trissential.
Trissential is working with Minnesota Computers for Schools (MNCFS), an organization that provides no- or low-cost computers to schools and educational nonprofits. MNCFS is NAID-certified to ensure the security of donated hardware and drives.
