Tumbling Tryouts with Circus Harmony 8/20 at City Museum

S For Story/10699442
ST. LOUIS - s4story -- Circus Harmony is St. Louis' internationally renowned social circus school. Located on the third floor of City Museum, Circus Harmony uses the teaching and performing of circus arts to educate, entertain, and inspire. They build character in individuals, bridges between communities, and pyramids out of people.

For the first time in many years, Circus Harmony is holding Tumbling Tryouts. If you know a high school aged young person who can already flip and might be interested in running away and joining this circus where they will still be home in time for dinner, let them know about this opportunity. Up to three people may be invited to join special circus classes!

Can't flip yet but still want to join the circus? Circus Harmony has classes in a variety of circus arts for ages 3 through adult. Their oldest student took trapeze at age 93! Fall registration is open now. Classes are held at Circus Harmony inside of City Museum. You may have seen their flying children in shows at City Museum, performing with Circus Flora, entertaining at Grant's Farm or other venues. Alumni tour the world with shows like Ringling Brothers, Barnum & Bailey, Cirque du Soleil, and 7 Fingers.

Circus Harmony's director, Jessia Hentoff said, "Our slogan is "Watch Out for Flying Children." We are looking for talented tumblers who want to train and then join our elite youth circus performance troupe the St. Louis Arches. Graduates of our program can be found in circuses but have also appeared with the WWE and Banana Ball League. If you can flip, we can truly help you to fly!"

There is no experience needed to sign up for regular classes. For information about Circus Harmony, go to their website at www.circusharmony.org or view them on Facebook, Instagram, or YouTube. For the Tumbling Tryouts, participants need to already be able to flip and will need a parent or guardian to attend the Tryouts with them. They can register in advance at https://tinyurl.com/tumblingtryout  or on the day of the event, Saturday, August 20, at 3:30 pm on the third floor of City Museum..
