New Book Release: Unity: A tapestry of story to spark belonging, connection and liberation
MELBOURNE, Australia - s4story -- Vari McKechnie and Natasha Gilmour put the call out for stories, women across Australia responded in droves. Through The Book Co.Lab, their new joint venture, and The Kind Press, they mentored, edited and published Unity. Vari designed the Unity book cover.
Natasha is the founder and publisher at The Kind Press. "We know our stories light the way for the women of tomorrow. When women unite, they discover a deep sense of belonging in their shared experiences and forge connections that transcend boundaries and empower us to stand tall. Our stories are a vital strand in the tapestry of humanity."
Vari is a coach, writer and creative. Her work centres around the theme of courage. "This book serves as a resolute call to action, a declaration that courage is the path to a future where generations of women will be inspired by our audacity and empowered to take their own bold strides." Vari has recently published Seeds of Courage and writes about topics including gentle productivity, simple living, joy and creativity.

Unity is a courageous anthology of personal stories, by eleven writers: Rayne Jobling-Paitai, Tara Winters, Sonia Bavistock, Hannah Thomas, Kate Jones, Tammy Guest, Natalie Simes, Pina DiDonato, Suzie de Jonge, Ana Asanovic and Anita Carr.
Each chapter serves as an intimate window into the lives of women from all walks of life, embracing the full spectrum of emotions, experiences and perspectives. From tales of resilience and healing to stories of love and loss, these powerful narratives will highlight the raw beauty and complexity of being human.
The underlying message of Unity is simple yet profound:
we are more similar than we are different.
As readers delve into these pages, they will be struck by the threads that bind us together—the shared hopes, fears, dreams and desires that unite us across cultures, generations and backgrounds. In celebrating our collective strength, this book offers a sanctuary where readers can find solace, empathy and a renewed sense of belonging.
