LAS VEGAS - s4story -- This sacred event will take place on Sunday, January 5, 2025, at 11:20 AM PST. The ceremony is designed to awaken participants to their divine identity and magnify the inherent magnificence within them.
The White Stone Ceremony is a deeply transformative experience that aligns with the Advent Season's spiritual journey, which has been enriched by previous rituals such as the Burning Bowl, Communion, and Candle Lighting Ceremonies. The journey symbolizes the awakening to our Christ identity and the embodiment of love, peace, and harmony within ourselves and the world. This sacred series aims to guide participants through the transformative experience of awakening to their true divine nature—an awakening that brings light, love, and healing to the world.
"What Part of My Magnificence Do I Wish to Awaken to This Year?"
In this special ceremony, Unity of Las Vegas will welcome Marsha Slater, a spiritual teacher and guest speaker, to help guide attendees in their sacred reflections. Marsha will lead the White Stone Ceremony, where participants will inscribe their stones with a name symbolizing a divine quality they wish to embody in the upcoming year. The ceremony offers an opportunity for personal transformation as each individual focuses on a divine quality they wish to awaken, such as love, peace, wisdom, or strength.
"To be human is to become visible while carrying what is hidden as a gift to others. To remember the other world in this world is to live in your true inheritance." ~ David Whyte

The White Stone Ceremony represents the profound realization of our divine identity—created in the image of the Divine, we each carry within us a spark of the eternal. This sacred ritual honors the uniqueness of each individual, while also recognizing our collective oneness. As we awaken to our magnificence, we come together to share the divine love and energy that unites us all.
The ceremony invites participants to step into their magnificence, exploring and embodying the qualities that reflect their divine nature. The experience will be uplifting, heart-opening, and will inspire attendees to live their truth in unity, peace, and love.
History of the White Stone Ceremony
The White Stone Ceremony is a long-standing Unity tradition that dates back to the early
days of the Unity movement. The practice is rooted in the symbolism of the white stone
mentioned in the Book of Revelation (2:17), where it is said that those who overcome will
receive a new name written on a white stone. This name symbolizes the divine qualities
that each person is called to embody in their spiritual journey.
In Unity's interpretation, the white stone represents the purity, new beginnings, and the
divine essence within each of us. It is used as a physical reminder of the divine qualities we
choose to manifest in our lives, helping us focus on our highest aspirations and spiritual
potential.

The White Stone Ceremony is a spiritual tradition practiced by Unity churches around the
world. During the ceremony, participants receive a white stone that symbolizes purity, new
beginnings, and the divine essence within. The stone serves as a reminder of the divine
qualities each person chooses to embody in the coming year. By inscribing their stone with
an intention, participants align with their highest self, setting the stage for a transformative
year ahead.
